Back in the saddle again. After a too short and too hectic break, landed in Houston at 3:15P, taxied to Northwest Cycles, picked up the bike and some new gloves and shoes, and tried to make up for the short day on the 16th. On the road at 4:30P, riding along the Frontage road along the north belt (8) probably 25 miles, I saw nothing worth taking a picture of (follow the orange line). So, this is the shortest update youll get. Legs feel pretty darn good. So you dont feel cheated, I am attaching a file with the route for the 2nd half of the trip for your reference.

A big thank you to the folks at Northwest Cyclery. They were very professional and helpful., and did a great job on the bike. Finally, forecast for tomorrow:

Monday Daytime: A mix of sun and clouds. High 81. Winds E 10 to 15 mph.

I left headwinds and came back to them. This is getting dull. Tailwinds would be nice.

PS. Wanted to note that at the Bennigans at 59 and 1960 in Humble TX (an oxymoron or a joke), the answer to the question What kind of white wines do you have? is We dont have any white wine, only something called Pinot Grigio.
